After searching the worldwide web we found Caberet Straat-Kat. In our eyes the most beautiful and imposing boerboel w'd ever seen. When we contacted the owner/breeder just that night a litter was born. Our decision was quickly made! On April 16th we went to Schiphol Aiport to pick up Eppo and his sister Tessa. The very same they day Tessa went to boerboelfriends.

Eppo is a firmly build dog with an excellent temperament. Friendly, smooth and still very watching. Just like a boerboel should be. In the meantime he is the father of several very promising males and females.

Donna is our first boerboel, through her we are contaminated with the boerboelvirus. Donna is neutered because of prolaps. She made "house-watching" her main task and does that quite well: laying on the carpet near the fireplace.

A few years ago we saw her mother Magic at an Appraisal and we immediately fall in love with her. We followed her and wenn she was pregnant we were happy to hear she was mated with Twin Peaks. Luckily there was a brindle female available, a dream came through! Pokey is our friendliest en funniest boerboel, very social with people and the other dogs. She has the temperament we all hope for when we buy a boerboel. Because of an accident  with the mother at 6 weeks one hip cannot be tested because it was broken.

2005, March 24th, Eppo's first offspring was born at M&M Boerboels. Thirteen beautiful, healthy puppies. Because there were 3 so called powder or bleu ones and we are not familiair with this colour regarding temperament, health and breeding we decided to keep Bibi. She is now living with friends. Bibi is a real working dog and gets a lot of attention because of her colour and beautiful "lion-eyes".

Eppo's littersister Tessa gave birth to 7 females and 6 males. From Monja we also had the pick of the litter. After 8 weeks of looking, playing and doubt we picked a red lady and named her Akilah. Together with Pokey she redecorates our livingroom from time to time. Akilah is very big with a strong bone-structure and had the delicious temperament of father Aldo.

Jilly came to us in januar of this year because she didn't fit in her former pack. Here she is doing great after being looked after by our older females. She is a very busy boerboel, always looking for playing or breaking out of her kennel. She has only one small "problem", she doesn't want to be left alone and therefore is placing in a fosterfamily not possible. She now will be part of our own pack.
She is born on the exact same date as Mulan, only almost on the other side of the world!

Our pack did grow quickly in a few months when also Tessa came to live at our kennel. Last year she already stayed a few months at our place to recover and to bring a little rest at M&M in a bad period.
In april 2007 she again did not feel okay and Toon decided she was better of at our place. We were very happu because Tessa, as being Eppos sister, always had a special place in our hearts.

In June Akila gave birth to one beautiful puppy. We couldn't decide who to sell her and the only possibility then is to keep her! But not at our place, that shouldn't be fair to her. Now she is living in a family with lots of animals en children to play with.

Dara gave birth to four sons. With one of them there was an immediate  "click" and therefore we're very happy that we found a family who is as enthusiast as we are about his qualities. We will keep you informed!

Als alles gaat zoals we hopen is Popeye is welkome aanvulling in onze lijn die vooral gebaseerd is op Eppo en Tessa. Deze jonge reu heeft het type wat we graag zien en nauwelijks raakvlakken in de pedigree. We zijn erg blij dat hij naar ons gekomen is!
